Flash your LoRa APRS devices with the latest firmware
Created by Ricardo Guzman (CA2RXU), this software bridges the world of LoRa (Long Range) communication with the global APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) network. It allows amateur radio enthusiasts to track objects, report weather data, and exchange messages over long distances with minimal power consumption.
Receives LoRa packets and forwards them to the global APRS-IS network, making your data available on sites like `aprs.fi`.
Receives and retransmits LoRa packets, significantly extending the network's range for devices outside of a gateway's reach.
This software, also by CA2RXU, complements the iGate/Digipeater ecosystem. It allows you to build mobile or stationary APRS stations that communicate with the world via the LoRa network. Ideal for tracking vehicles, hiking, or monitoring parameters.
Connect to your phone (e.g., with APRSDroid) and use the device as a TNC modem.
Read, write, and delete APRS messages directly from the device.
Advanced encoding and SmartBeaconing minimize airtime.
Supports BME280 sensors for sending weather telemetry.
Broad compatibility with T-Beam, Heltec, T-Deck boards, and many others.
Power-saving modes and a battery monitor to protect the battery.
Install the software directly from your web browser – no extra tools needed.
A convenient web interface to manage all device settings after connecting via Wi-Fi.
Full transparency and community-driven development. The project is available on GitHub.
